Departments and Chairs
Faculty Headmaster

Viewed from the perspective of practice and theory, the Department for Kinesiology Education and Methodology (ZKEM) is founded on the necessity of observing, quantifying, modeling, and interdisciplinary interpretation of complex kinesiological phenomena using the tools of applied physics, mathematical models, applied statistics, and pedagogy.

There are two Chairs at the Department: the Chair of General Methodology and the Chair of Kinesiology Methodology.

Members of the Chait of Methodology of Kinesiology are responsible for all methodological (Kinesiology Methodology 1 and Kinesiology Methodology 2) and related courses.

The members of the Chair of General Methodology are responsible for basic methodological subjects (Quantitative methods 1, Quantitative methods 2, Systematic kinesiology 1, Systematic kinesiology 2), subjects necessary for understanding, modeling, kinesiology analysis and practical application of fundamental and complex motion structures (Biomechanics, Biomechanics in kinesiology) as well as subjects on the fundamentals of motor learning (Motor learning).
