The third mission of the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, includes activities by which the Faculty, in addition to teaching and scientific activities, contributes to the development of sports, health, education and the quality of life in the community.
The Faculty achieves its third mission through cooperation with sports clubs, associations, schools, educational facilities, public institutions, civil society organizations and other partners. Special emphasis is placed on the transfer of kinesiological knowledge into practice, popularization of science, professional education, projects, workshops, public lectures and activities aimed at different groups of users.
An important part of the third mission is the volunteer activities of the Faculty’s teachers, associates and students. By participating in sports, educational, humanitarian and public health activities, the Faculty actively contributes to the local community and encourages the development of social responsibility and practical competences of its students.
