At the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, students have access to a mentoring support system through study year leaders and student tutors. The aim of the system is to provide students with timely information, provide advice during their studies, and help resolve any difficulties in fulfilling their study obligations.
Study year leaders, in collaboration with student tutors and study year representatives, inform students about important teaching and professional activities, rights and obligations during their studies, and opportunities such as scholarships, mobility, student internships, and extracurricular activities.
They also provide students with support in organizing their studies and overcoming study challenges, monitor difficulties in the study process, and organize meetings with students of a particular study year at least once a semester. Study year leaders are appointed by the dean at the beginning of each academic year.
