The process of recognition and evaluation of a foreign educational qualification is intended for persons who obtained the qualification outside the Republic of Croatia and wish to exercise the right to continue their education or other rights in accordance with current regulations.
This page provides basic information about the procedure for recognizing foreign qualifications at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, as well as instructions on the required documentation and how to submit an application.
The procedure is carried out in accordance with the valid legal and by-laws governing the recognition and evaluation of foreign educational qualifications.
RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- An application for academic recognition of foreign higher education qualifications is submitted to the Academic Recognition Office at the University.
- The application is submitted on the prescribed form (below) and accompanied by the documents prescribed in Article 12, paragraph 2 of the Act on the Recognition of Foreign Educational Qualifications (OG 69/2022)
- The Office, within 15 days of receiving the completed Request, delivers it to the University component where the party wishes to continue their studies.
The following must be attached to the request:
- Original or certified copy of a public document proving a foreign educational qualification, with a certified translation into Croatian or English
- Original or certified copy of the supplementary document on studies or supplementary document accompanying the certificate in English, if any, with a certified translation into Croatian or English
- A copy of the identity card, travel document, proof of citizenship or other appropriate document that can establish the identity of the holder of a foreign educational qualification
- Proof of payment of costs (the amount of 60 EUR should be paid to the University of Split, R. Boškovića 31, 21000 Split, IBAN HR 29845096215)
The application and documentation must be submitted to the following address: University of Split, Ruđera Boškovića 31, 21000 Split by mail or in person (protocol, 4th floor or room 3.8, 3rd floor).
RECOGNITION OF PERIODS OF EDUCATION ABROAD
The application for Recognition of Periods of Education is submitted directly to the Faculty, which carries out the entire procedure for recognizing periods of study.
The following shall be attached to the request:
Transcript of passed exams with grades and ECTS points in original
Official study plan and program (omit if published on the official website of the institution)
A copy of your ID card, travel document, proof of citizenship or other appropriate document that can be used to establish your identity
Confirmation of payment of the cost reimbursement (the amount of EUR 30 should be paid to the Faculty of Kinesiology, Teslina 6, 21000 Split, IBAN HR4124070001100643571)
The application and documentation must be submitted to the following address: Faculty of Kinesiology Split, Teslina 6, 21000 Split, by mail or in person at the Student Office (Teslina 10, 4th floor).
