The Library of the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, provides professional support for the teaching, scientific and professional work of the Faculty. The library collection includes materials from the fields of kinesiology, sports, physical exercise, health, methodology, pedagogy, psychology and other related fields that are taught and researched at the Faculty.
The library provides students, teachers, associates and researchers with access to printed and electronic materials, the library catalog, institutional repository, national and international databases and other relevant sources of scientific and professional information. It has a special role in providing support to students in the preparation of seminar, final, diploma and doctoral theses, as well as to teachers and researchers in literature searches, citations, storage of works and preparation of bibliometric certificates.
Students can borrow three books (of different titles) at a time for a period of one month.
Upon arrival at the library, students are required to show their student ID card.
Before defending their final, graduate (master’s) thesis and doctoral dissertation, or in the event of being expelled from the faculty, students are required to return all borrowed books to the faculty library.
KIFST LIBRARY and READING ROOM:

- OPENNESS OF READING ROOMS:

- The KIFST LIBRARY is located at Teslina 10 on the 4th floor, and consists of TWO READING ROOMS intended for KIFST students and a STORAGE ROOM for storing the library’s holdings.
The working hours of the LIBRARY or LIBRARIAN are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00, and work with users is from 8:30 to 15:30.
- READING ROOMS are open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. , are covered by wireless Internet and are under constant video surveillance to protect property.
The READING ROOM FOR INDIVIDUAL WORK is located next to the library storage room. It is equipped with 12 seats, 2 Pilates balls and 3 computers for student use.
READING ROOM FOR GROUP WORK: During non-classroom hours, classroom No. 7 can be used as a reading room for group work. The space is equipped with 20 seats and 2 computers for students. Entry is by identification with a student ID card (XS).
Students must leave the reading rooms independently due to the building being locked!
The reading rooms are intended for students to study and write seminar and final/diploma theses, and we ask students to respect the space we leave for them to use all day long!

The portal of electronic resources for the Croatian academic and scientific community provides access to databases with a national license.
Access is possible via faculty or private computers. You do not need to log in from faculty computers, while from private computers you need to log in with the electronic identity AAI@Edu at http://baze.nsk.hr, Izbronik, Proxy.
Google Scholar offers an easy way to search extensively for scholarly information
literature. Search across disciplines and sources: articles, books, abstracts, and court decisions.
