The Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, is continuously developing and improving its quality assurance system with the aim of achieving high academic standards in education, scientific research and professional work. The culture of quality is one of the fundamental strategic commitments of the Faculty and represents an important prerequisite for its continuous development and recognition in the national and international academic environment.
The quality assurance system is based on the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG) and on applicable national regulations. Its purpose is to systematically monitor and improve all activities of the Faculty – from study programmes and teaching processes to scientific and professional work and student support.
All stakeholders of the Faculty are involved in the process of ensuring and improving quality – students, teachers and associates, professional services, the Faculty administration and external partners. Through continuous monitoring, evaluation and development of activities, the Faculty strives to ensure quality education, a stimulating academic environment and the development of students’ competences necessary for their professional and social contribution.
