NPOO projects
The Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split actively participates in the implementation of institutional research projects funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026 (NPOO). of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021. – 2026. (NPOO). These are projects that support the development of innovative basic and applied research, strengthening research capacities, involving younger researchers, and contributing to the digital and green transition of science.
The call for funding institutional research projects of the University of Split foresees a project duration of 48 months , with funding for projects based on innovative research ideas and contributing to the development of research at the institution, strengthening research infrastructure, international cooperation and the creation of measurable results, such as scientific papers, formal collaborations and new research activities. The quality of the project proposal, the quality of the research team, the contribution to the development of the institution, the feasibility of the project, the digital dimension of the research, and the collaboration between multiple components of the University are particularly valued.
By implementing NPOO projects, the Faculty further strengthens its scientific and research activities, develops modern methodological and technological approaches, improves research equipment and the working environment, and opens up space for a stronger connection between science, teaching, and social needs. At the same time, the involvement of doctoral students, junior researchers and students in research activities is encouraged, which contributes to the long-term development of research culture and excellence at the Faculty.
All projects funded under this call are required to ensure the visibility of results and activities, including project websites in Croatian and English, as well as a clear emphasis on the support of the European Union – NextGenerationEU. In this way, the transparency, openness and international recognition of research conducted at the Faculty of Kinesiology of the University of Split are further strengthened.
