Life-Saving Skills in Action: Prof. Šajber Leads ‘Water Rescue’ Workshop at KIFST
As part of a continuous exchange of professional expertise and international cooperation, the Faculty of Kinesiology (KIFST) hosted Prof. Dorica Šajber from the Faculty of Sport, University of Ljubljana, who conducted practical sessions on “Water Rescue.” Students were given a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of advanced rescue techniques, preventive measures, and real-life simulations.
The visit provided students with valuable insights into contemporary methods and international water safety standards. Prof. Šajber’s practical training once again highlighted the importance of experience sharing and the direct transfer of skills—both of which are vital for the future careers of kinesiologists working in recreational and sports centers.
