It also focuses on the development of basic and specific motor abilities, motor skills, and programme contents of individual sports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"1027\">Within the structure of kinesiological activities, sports games belong to polystructural complex activities. Sports games may be classified as invasion games, net or wall games, striking and fielding games, and target games.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1246\">The Department includes the <strong data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1082\">Chair of Sports Games<\/strong> (Head: Assistant Professor Ante Ra\u0111a, PhD) and the <strong data-start=\"1134\" data-end=\"1197\">Chair of Theory of Sport and Kinesiological Transformations<\/strong> (Head: Associate Professor Josefina \u0110uzel, PhD).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1573\">The Chair of Sports Games includes compulsory courses such as <strong data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1398\">Theory and Methodology of Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Football, and Water Polo<\/strong>, elective courses such as <strong data-start=\"1425\" data-end=\"1489\">Beach Volleyball, Mini Handball, Baseball, Rugby, and Futsal<\/strong>, as well as elective modules in <strong data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1572\">Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, and Football<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1795\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The Chair of Theory of Sport and Kinesiological Transformations includes compulsory courses such as <strong data-start=\"1675\" data-end=\"1697\">Theory of Training<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1699\" data-end=\"1708\">OKT 1<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1714\" data-end=\"1723\">OKT 2<\/strong>, as well as the elective module <strong data-start=\"1756\" data-end=\"1794\">Strength and Conditioning Training<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The work of the Department of Kinesiology of Sports Games and Theory of Sport is based on transdisciplinary principles, as kinesiology is a scientific field dominated by an experimental approach to the comprehensive study of the principles and laws of human movement, physical activity, and exercise.
