The knowledge transfer of the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, includes projects, programs and activities through which the scientific, professional and teaching competencies of the Faculty are transferred to students, alumni, sports clubs, teaching bases, educational institutions, sports coaches, older people and the general public.<\/p>\n

Through knowledge transfer projects, the Faculty connects scientific research, professional work, education and practical application in the fields of sports, health, physical activity, fitness training, motor development, sports heritage and identification of sports talents. In this way, the Faculty contributes to the development of sports and health in the community, strengthening cooperation with external stakeholders and increasing the social visibility of the kinesiology profession. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Open Space and Closed Years<\/strong> project focuses on recreation, physical exercise and health of older people. The project implements a recreational outdoor exercise program, three times a week throughout the year, in Mertojak Park. The project has been running for three years and is an example of the continuous application of kinesiology knowledge in the local community. <\/p>\n

The project manager is Prof. Dr. Nata\u0161a Zeni\u0107 Sekuli\u0107 <\/strong>, and the target groups are the general public and the elderly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Health, Longevity and Sport (HeLoS)<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Health, Longevity and Sport (HeLoS)<\/strong> project is an institutional project of the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split aimed at connecting scientific knowledge, digitalization of data collection and practical interventions to optimize health status, biological age and sports development. The project includes children, students, athletes, people with special needs and the general population. <\/p>\n

The project applies kinesiological diagnostics, field research and modern technologies, including digital tools, cloud technology, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Special emphasis is placed on developing tools for monitoring health status, raising awareness of the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, and connecting different stakeholders in the field of kinesiology, health and sports. <\/p>\n

The Future of Split Sports History<\/strong> project aims to preserve and promote the sports heritage of the city of Split. It is based on the need to more systematically preserve, research, and present the history of Split sports to students, alumni, educational institutions, professors, and the general public. <\/p>\n

The project aims to raise awareness of the importance of the sports heritage of the city of Split and connect the Faculty with people and institutions that care about the history of Split sports.<\/p>\n

The project manager is Prof. Dr. Hrvoje Karnin\u010di\u0107 <\/strong>, and the target groups are students, alumni, teaching bases and the general public.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

The Athletic Activities for Encouraging Motor Excellence<\/strong> project addresses the role of athletic activities in the development of motor skills and motor excellence. Special emphasis is placed on biotic motor skills, such as running, jumping, and throwing, which are the foundation of overall motor development. <\/p>\n

The project analyzes training plans and programs and the ways in which properly structured athletic content can be used to encourage optimal progress in athletic disciplines.<\/p>\n

The project manager is prof. Frane \u017duvela <\/strong>, and the target group is students.<\/p>\n

The Sports Mathematics<\/strong> project aims to improve mathematics education through blended learning that connects theoretical tasks with practical motor activities. This approach integrates mathematical content into simple sports exercises, enabling children to learn actively and experientially. <\/p>\n

This encourages understanding of the teaching material, increases motivation for learning, and simultaneously develops cognitive and motor skills.<\/p>\n

The project leaders are Prof. Dr. Sc. Nenad Rogulj, Smiljana Le\u0161i\u0107 and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Marijana \u010cavala <\/strong>, and the target groups are teachers, kinesiologists and students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

The project Fitness Preparation of Young Athletes<\/strong> is aimed at organizing various activities to educate students and alumni in the field of working with young athletes. The project responds to the need to further strengthen professional competencies in the field of fitness preparation of children and youth, which is represented to a limited extent in the regular study program. <\/p>\n

The project manager is Assistant Professor \u0160ime Ver\u0161i\u0107, PhD <\/strong>, and the target groups are students and alumni.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

The project Methods of work, identification and selection in football<\/strong> is focused on education in the field of coaching work with football players of different ages. The identification and selection of young football players is an integral part of the coaching work, and the selection of appropriate methods and content through different development phases is one of the key tasks in football practice. <\/p>\n

The project presents theoretical and practical methods of work, identification and selection in football, with an emphasis on their application in working with football players of different ages.<\/p>\n
