The Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, is today recognised as an academic community that connects education, science, and professional work in the field of kinesiology. Through its study programmes, we educate competent, responsible, and motivated professionals for work in sport, recreation, kinesitherapy, and the education system, aware of the importance of their role in promoting health, physical activity, and quality of life in contemporary society. <\/p>\n
We see the particular value of our Faculty in its strong connection with practice. The teaching process, professional practice, and research work are developed through continuous dialogue with sports clubs, schools, associations, federations, and other partners from the community. It is precisely this connection with the real working environment that enables students to acquire concrete knowledge and experience, while giving the Faculty an additional responsibility to serve as a place for knowledge transfer, professional development, and support for sport and society as a whole. <\/p>\n
At the same time, the Faculty of Kinesiology continuously strengthens its scientific and professional visibility. Through the development of research capacities, international cooperation, and the promotion of excellence, we strive to create new knowledge and apply it where it is needed most \u2014 in teaching, sport, health, and everyday practice. It is particularly important to us that scientific and professional work does not remain confined within the academic sphere, but has a clear and measurable contribution to the community. <\/p>\n
At the heart of our work are our students. We aim to provide them with high-quality education, a stimulating academic environment, opportunities for personal and professional development, and to strengthen their readiness for the challenges of their future work. We believe that knowledge, dedication, responsibility, and openness to cooperation form the foundation on which we build the future of our Faculty. <\/p>\n
With this conviction, we continue to develop the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, as a place of excellence, partnership, and trust \u2014 an institution firmly grounded in science, while equally and continuously oriented towards practice and the needs of society.<\/p>\n
