\nConditions and Mode of Study<\/p>\n

The graduate program in kinesiology is conducted over two academic years. Each academic year is divided into two semesters or four quarters. In each semester, a student typically enrolls in 30 ECTS credits, amounting to 60 ECTS credits in one academic year. A student completes this program by accumulating all 120 ECTS credits and defending a Master\u2019s thesis.<\/p>\n

In each semester, students take mandatory courses and one to three elective courses, depending on the semester. In the first semester, students take 27 ECTS of mandatory courses and 3 ECTS of elective courses; in the second semester, 24 ECTS of mandatory courses and 6 ECTS of elective courses; in the third semester, 21 ECTS of mandatory courses and 9 ECTS of elective courses; and in the fourth semester, the Master\u2019s thesis worth 21 ECTS and 9 ECTS of elective courses.<\/p>\n

Teaching Methods in the Study Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

Teaching in the study program is generally conducted through lectures (groups of up to 150 students), seminars (groups of up to 36 students), kinesiology exercises (groups of up to 18 students), laboratory exercises (groups of up to 12 students) for subjects in the field of biomedical sciences, field exercises (groups of up to 12 students) for certain sports subjects (Skiing, Water Sports), and methodical exercises (groups of up to 10 students) for the subjects Kinesiology Methodics 1 and 2.<\/p>\n

System of Counseling and Guidance Through the Study<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students of each academic year, at the beginning of the academic year, elect two student representatives. The Faculty Council appoints a Year Head from among the faculty and staff employed at the Faculty. Additionally, students are organized and have the Student Council of the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split (KIFST), which has four representatives in the Faculty Council. Support is available to them through the Student Service, which is open every working day from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for student inquiries. Heads of departments, the Vice-Dean for Teaching and Students, and all faculty members are available to students for guidance and support throughout their studies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
